Having grown up in Nebraska, snow is no extraordinary thing to me. But here in Tennessee, we don't see much snow so when it does snow, it can get pretty exciting. The world slows down and everything seems so quiet while the snow blankets the ground. This year, I grabbed my macro lens and set outside in my yard to capture some shots of the ice and some individual snowflakes. They (the individual flake images) aren't quite as sharp as I'd like the images to be, but I'm pleased with them and want to share them here. Amazing how one delicate snowflake looks soooooo different than the collective snowfall!
